Feeding Guide for Our Food

We feed 3% of your dogs weight per day.


For puppies it is recommended that they eat 4-6% of their weight for the first year of growth.

Once your receive your food, place in the freezer immediately.

Thaw overnight in a sealed container in the fridge or bench top, for next day feeding. If you forget just thaw in some warm water in the bags for 15 min.

Serve half in the morning and half at night. It's recommended to feed twice a day rather than one big meal at night for overall gut health and easier digestion.

Food can be kept in freezer up to 6months.

Its best not to mix with dry food/kibble as they break down at different rates in the gut causing gas/bloating and other issues. Ideally you want to wean you dog off all processed food.

The amount of food your dog needs depends on several factors, including its weight, metabolism, and activity level. Generally, smaller dogs require a higher percentage of their body weight in food compared to larger dogs, who need a smaller percentage. It’s essential to monitor your dog’s weight regularly and adjust their food intake as necessary.

Our meals are all balanced with the correct portion of muscle meat, bone, offal, green supplements. The aim is to feed 3 or more different meat proteins over a week of raw feeding. Will our pre-portioned meal packs this balance is insured without over or underfeeding the essentials.

Raw feeding that isn't balanced poses dangers for your pets health long term as they are missing out on essentials vitamins and nutrients.

 

For Adult Dogs (Divided into 1-2 meals):

  • 1 kg: 20-40 g
  • 2 kg: 40-80 g
  • 3 kg: 60-120 g
  • 5 kg: 100-200 g
  • 10 kg: 200-400 g
  • 15 kg: 300-600 g
  • 20 kg: 400-800 g
  • 25 kg: 500-1,000 g
  • 30 kg: 600-1,200 g
  • 35 kg: 700-1,400 g
  • 40 kg: 800-1,600 g

For Puppies (Divided into 2-4 meals):

  • 1 kg: 50-80 g
  • 2 kg: 100-160 g
  • 3 kg: 150-240 g
  • 5 kg: 250-400 g
  • 10 kg: 500-800 g
  • 15 kg: 750-1,200 g
  • 20 kg: 1,000-1,600 g
  • 25 kg: 1,250-2,000 g
  • 30 kg: 1,500-2,400 g
  • 35 kg: 1,750-2,800 g
  • 40 kg: 2,000-3,200 g
